Terms of Use

This mobile app has been designed for frontline health workers who have been trained to use it. If you are not a qualified medical professional, please do not implement the advice given by this app without consulting a trained medical professional first. You should be above the age of 21 to use this app.

Privacy Policy

Data we collect

The Shwaas app does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information about you or any patient. It has no user accounts, does not communicate with any server, and does not include any analytics or tracking SDKs.

The clinical questions you answer in the app (such as a patient's age, symptoms, and vital signs) are processed entirely on your device to compute a recommendation. These answers are never sent anywhere.

Data stored on your device

The app uses your device's local storage only for:

• Your selected language preference
• A flag recording that you have accepted the disclaimer

Questionnaire answers are kept in memory only during an active session and are discarded as soon as the app is closed or you start a new assessment.

Data retention

Because the app does not transmit any data, no data about you is stored on our servers — there is nothing for us to retain on your behalf. The two locally stored items above (language preference, disclaimer acceptance) remain on your device until you remove them.

How to delete your data

You can remove all locally stored data at any time by either:

• Clearing the app's data via your device settings: Settings → Apps → Shwaas → Storage → Clear data, or
• Uninstalling the app from your device.

Because we never receive your data, no further action is needed to delete it from our systems — there is nothing on our end to delete.

Data sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data.
